Ice Cream...
- Ben Govier (23rd Jun 2008 - 17:37:11)

Not sure if blatant touting is allowed but ...

Trading as Dylan's Ice Cream, I have just started producing my own Ice Cream and selling it from my Rascal Van. The Fun Day yesterday was my first event, it was very successful but I could do with some more!

So if the good people of Liphook have any suggestion as to other events that would require locally sourced, traditionally produced Ice Cream then I would be very interested.

Thanks

Ben Govier

Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like I am doing the Classic Car Day at the Deers Hut.

As for buying direct, I have started a small delivery round to Liphook offering 1 litre tubs of my ice cream. See
www.dylansicecream.co.uk

I promise my ice cream making is far better than my web design!

Ben.

Ben,

It's refreshing (!) to see a new Business do well in Liphook.

I understand its early days, but have you considered a retail venue for your wares? If so.....I know of a small unit in Station Road, - but if you only wanted to use the window for advertising - we could come to some arrangements.

(If interested, contact can be made by e-mail via the Editor - thks in advance Ed)

I notice that Passfield store is still not selling your ice cream and also that Passfield is too far away to be included in your delivery round.

Are we allowed to pick it up from you directly?

Thanks
Dawn

According to Ben he has one more inspection to undergo before he can offer his product for sale through third party retailers, cafes, restaurants etc. I am sure that when this has been done we will see much more of his excellent product on sale.

hi, ive had dlyans ice cream a few times now and i think it is delicous, especialy the honey flavour one :) and he provides a good service and am looking forward to my next delivery

Re: Ice Cream...
- Dawn Hoskins (25th Jul 2008 - 13:50:57)

Have taste tested the Malt and the Blackcurrant.

I loved the malt, but hubby was upset (as he thought it was going to be malt whiskey). Rest of family loved the Blackcurrant but I found it a bit sharp.

No delivery charge, so very environmentally friendly as he is driving home this way anyway.

Delicious.

Re: Ice Cream...
- Ben Govier (13th Feb 2009 - 10:50:04)

Hello.

I'm trying to empty the freezer ready for the summer and I have the following Ice Cream I would like get rid of

The following are £2.75 / litre

Mint Choc Chip x 2
Cinnamon x 2
Blackberry Sorbet x 1

Blackcurrant (not quite full) £2.50 / litre

Think of it as a sale, I will even deliver free to Liphook.

Also the Hard Drive died on my computer a couple of weeks ago, whilst I had most things backed up I lost my mailing / newsletter list. So if anyone would like to continue receiving it could they email me: ben@dylansicecream.co.uk
