19th July, The Links Fun Day - for the adults a Sausage & Ale Festival - Laura Bugbee (23rd Jun 2008 - 16:22:47) Hi Everyone, Following the success of the Carnival Fun Day we are planning our own little one Fun Day at The Links. Most of the events on the day, which I have detailed below, will also be helping to raise money for the Carnival Fund. The day will start from 12 and finish around 4.30, continuing the fun from 5pm we have Live Music from a 3 piece acoustic band called 'Last Midnight' The Events: Ferret Racing and I am not joking!! if you have never seen this before you must come and join in. Its great fun for all the family this will start 1 until 4 and yes you can cuddle the ferrets if you want! Faceprinting Skittle Alley Coconut Shy Hit the Rat Art & Crafts run by the carnival committee All the money raised from these events will be going to the Carnival fund. The Fat Boys will be joining us to cook and serve a Hog Roast from 3ish. I'm sure this will interest a lot of you, along side the hog roast will be holding a Sausage & Ale Festival.
