Has anymore had feedback from friends or relatives who have stayed at the Metro Inn on the A3 (it was a travellodge)? Failing that has anyone got any other alternatives tor recommend. Cheers.

I've had work colleagues that have stayed there and all have said they won't go back as it was dingy and dirty.

It isn't a budget hotel, but I know that the Georgian House Hotel on Haslemere High St often has rooms in the £60/£70 region. Relatives have stayed there in the past and have said it was fine.

Old Thorns is surprisingly reasonably priced. The jolly drovers has some lovely accommodation but I am not sure what it costs
