The moment you have been waiting for has arrived ! - Keith Thomas (18th Jul 2013 - 18:26:53) Well, if it wasn't, it should have been :) Amongst the many activities by Liphook in Bloom this week (the competition week and our display in Sainsbury's on Friday 19th) we have also launched our new website at www.liphookinbloom.co.uk The intention of the website is to provide a continuous update of what we're up to and to give you an insight into all of our activities and projects. We expect some of you may be surprised by the extent of what goes on. Some of the key features and content of the new website are : - Accessible on most devices (computers/tablets/phones) - The latest news on what we've been up to - Access to our 2012 video as well as over 4000 photographs of the village and the beds back to 2005 (we plan to expand this) - A calendar of all our events and working days - A list of our beloved sponsors - A description of many of our bigger "Projects" - Some background to Liphook in Bloom and some very good reasons why you may want to pitch in, even if it's one hour a year - A contact form to speak to us directly (well, via email) This is the first launch of our website and we hope to add more useful information as time goes on, for example, we will be showing a list of plant and bulbs we use for the many of you who ask "what is that?". We hope you find something of interest on the site, please feed back any suggestions via the contact page. Happy surfing ! I particularly like the video, it's amazing to see how many people are involved in Liphook in Bloom and I enjoyed seeing how many people I recognised in the film. Happy Blooming! Katy
