Brownies - Neil Pope (18th Jun 2008 - 13:34:34) I am after a little help, my wife and I have been trying to get our Daughter in to Rainbows or Brownies for a couple of years but without much luck. Can anyone tell me how long the waiting list is or if anything is to be done to increase the amount of girls that can sign up. Any help most welcome Thanks

Re: Brownies - lucy (18th Jun 2008 - 17:16:02) You need to contact Rachel Potter who is responsible for the waiting lists. Her number is 751640. As for how long it takes depends on how many people are already on the list (which Im not sure off at the mo) and how many girls are due to move on to guides soon. There will be some leaving in the summer so there might be a chance your daughter could start in september.

Girlguiding Liphook District is a thriving district and we would love to take more girls all the time, but due to the Adult/Child ratios we are limited, but we always try to get girls in where possible. We would of course welcome volunteers to our team, to enable us to take in more girls. The Team consists of not only Guiders and Young Leaders within Units, but also Unit Helpers, Friends of Guiding & Parent volunteers. If anyone is interested in finding out more about Volunteering with us, then please contact us! Our details are in the back of the Community Magazine and on this website under the Clubs and Societies page. Alternatively, we will be selling Tea/Coffee/Cream Teas/Cakes on Sunday at the Funday, so pop into the Guide Hall and have a chat with us!

Re: Brownies - Victoria (20th Jun 2008 - 18:25:36) Jacqui runs one of Rainbow Units, but Rachael manages the waiting lists for all the Liphook Rainbow and Brownie Units.
