Does anybody know of anyone in the local area that repairs sewing machines please?

Alton Sewing Centre - it's not 'local', but they are good. The company closed the shops, but he now runs it from a garage/unit in Alton. Unfortunately I don't have a number, but did see an advert in one of the free papers.
