I agree, I had fish and chips from there a few weeks ago. Chips were awful and the fish was soggy, when I got my food home some of my order was missing. The boys serving are very polite but the man who was behind the counter frying the food was as miserable as sin. We will never eat from there again. The chippy on station road has nice food, crispy batter and lovely chips.

Similar experience a few weeks back. Chips were barely cooked and cod was like leather - was convinced it had been left over at lunch and reheated for evening! Shame really.

You can always trust 'Superfryer' in Station Road to serve up a decent Fish and Chip Supper

Hi,
I had a meal from there this week and also not impressed.
Something has changed recently, maybe staff, quality of fish, or cooking. A cod and chips three weeks ago was one of the finest I have known anywhere.

It's such a shame as Headley Road Chip Shop was always very very good, it's so sad that unfortunately they have gone down hill so much. Horrible chips, fish just leathery.
I agree with Hazel it's defo " Superfryer" in Station Road for me now days as cannot fault them at all.
Come on Headley Road please sort yourselves out.

If you have a problem go and tell them...... don't back stab on here....that's the easy sad option...

no they need to up their game we're a little village people want quality, they should serve it all the time as it will go round and they'll lose out. when you make the effort to use their shop get home and the food is rubbish

They do sell cans of "RIO", which are great.

Anyone know if any of the big supermarket chains sell Rio, as Sainsburies don't.

Cheers, Finchie

Theres been a fish and chip shop there ever since I can remember (early 70s onwards) and they've never been great.

My personal favourite is Seafare on Bordon High Street. The chips are never too greasy. Atlantis in Whitehill is also good as you get a choice of chips or fries.

go and see Kaz at frankies fish & chips Grayshott, the fish is to die for!!!
And you can eat in there as well, soon opening a new shop in bordon
The closed chinesse chip shop by forest road.
The fish & chips are the best !!! i think you will not find better!!!
