Silent Garden development presentation - Niall G (23rd May 2008 - 11:55:46)
Did anyone manage to see the Silent Garden presentation yesterday (Thursday); I didn't make it home in time?

So didn't anyone see the proposal to put 111 (?) houses on the Silent Garden site??

It is very disappointing isn't it.
I too finish work at stupid o’clock most evening meetings and am rarely able to attend these things. (That is why I like this forum so much).
Considering the amount of ‘supposed opposition’ it is surprising that no one can give feedback. But then, I wonder how widely used this forum is (as it is only ever the same few people who contribute).
Maybe this site should be more widely advertised??? [Editor]

Went round to see the show ? at the Church centre
Usual plans and artisist impressions 100 house 5/4/3 bedroom and some affordable housing ( ie housing association dwellings)
A village pond and green play area for the younger generation
Should still have the details downs stairs which I caan scan and email to those interested.
Some minor road changes to the Portsmouth road ie another pinch point and a low level island south of the Church centre turning.
Waste water is directed towards the Longmoor Road.
The experts (?) say just 1 extra car per minute. Thats acording to the 1 day survey.
And of course its going to be eco friendly !!!!!!!
