Current status of Green Dragon Pub

Hi,
Does anyone know if repair work will start this year?

The Green Dragon is a listed building in a conservation area so it will need planning permission before works can begin to restore the building (paperwork has already been submitted to the District Council). Parts of the Green Dragon date back to the 16th century. The combination of fire and water has also resulted in structural damage so it will require a lot of specialist input.
So the answer is we don\'t know when works will begin but it will be a few weeks before a planning decision is made. The restoration will be an interesting process once it gets underway.
