National Carers Week - annehall (25th May 2013 - 17:20:39)
National Carers Week is from the 10th-15th June and the local PPG Carers Group are holding a coffee morning at the Peak Centre from 10a.m.-noon and invite any Carers to attend and if possible bring the person they care for.There are going to be representatives from Alzimers -TLC-Princes Trust-Dementia Society who will be on hand to give advce to help with caring for a family member or friend. Sometimes being a Carer can be a very lonely existence so chatting to others helps give support to each other. Refreshments are being provided by Sainsburys who are supporting Carers week again this year. Anyone welcome to attend.

Sorry I should have said that the coffee morning at the Peak Centre is only on Monday 10th June 10-a.m.-noon
although it is National Carers week from 10th - 15th June.
The local Carers Group however do meet on the 1st Monday of the month (unless Bank Holiday)then it is the 2nd Monday in the month at 7p.m.-9p.m. at the Peak Centre and the 1st Wednesday of the month at the Millenium Hall 10a.m.-Noon. for anyone who feels they need help and support please come along all welcome.

Just to remind all Carers of the Coffee Morning being held at the Peak Centre on Monday 10th June 10a.m.-noon to meet up with other Carers and receive help and advice and to take part in National Carers week.Look forward to seeing you there.
