The new coffee shop
- Dawn Hoskins (27th Mar 2008 - 18:51:08)

Wow
Congratulations to the new coffee shop.

I had a few minutes of hanging around before an appointment and so popped in for cake and coffee.

I have got to say, it was delicious and homemade and the coffee was fresh. I was very impressed indeed.

I sat at the window and watched the world go by and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, I gather they are just about to extend into the back room so you can sit down and eat with a bit more space too.

It is a shame that I am normally out at work and have to put up with run of the mill Prêt a Manger or Café Nero.

Having homemade is always so much nicer.

Would love to try it but always have toddler in tow - so have to use the sainsbury's coffee shop. Always looks nice though!

Just wondering why having a toddler would stop you going to a coffee shop?

Having had (and been through that stage) 3 toddlers, I can honestly say - I always went wherever I wanted to go - so am a bit mystified about your post.

Are you worried that you can't take your pram / pushchair in or something like that?

having somewhere to sit would be a start! not one for perching a two year old on a high stool but each to there own

Oh yes..
I had forgotten the high stools. Yes, they aren't very child friendly are they. LOL

Hello,

Thank you for all your lovely comments. We will be opening the back part of the cafe/Tearooms within the next two weeks which will have plenty of normal seating (such as chairs) & booster seats for little ones as well as having a small play area.

We do currently have a high chair which is kept out the back and can be bought out at any time if requested.

Best wishes,

All the team @ No 26 x

Still haven’t had a chance to go. What news of the re-furb?
Has anybody eaten in there yet?
