What news of the above? Haven't heard of any meetings for some considerable time.

Now you mention it, no reports of any meetings or activities since March 2012. Long time really.
Has this gone the same way as the Liphook Marketing Panel initiative back in the 90s?
I seem to recall much enthusiasm back along. What has happened in the meantime?

As an owner of a small business in Liphook, I had attempted to join the LBI three times over the last 18 months via there advertised channels. I never received any replies.
I came to the assumption that they either did not want me involved or that it no longer exists which, now seems to be the case. Shame.

Your Parish Planning team (Steering Group) are well aware of the need for a business initiative or, perhaps, even a Chamber of Commerce in the parish. We already have a draft Business report that reflect this position: from more information go to www.liphookplan.co.uk.
If you feel that you have a contribution to make that would help shape the future of businesses in our village then we would like to hear from you. This is your opportunity to make a difference, so don't waste it. Our contact details are on the website.

It is a real shame that this group seems to have packed up shop!
To be honest, I for one am not surprised.
So much work and effort was put into this in the early months by a few. I would love to know why the fire was let to go out?
If the Council have another plan for Business promotion in Liphook - fantastic. The need is still there.
