CAN YOU HELP? LIPHOOK LITTER PICK on 28th - Philip Jordan (23rd Apr 2013 - 19:26:20) On Sunday April 28th at 9.30 hrs Midhurst Road Car Park. This is the third year of the Liphook Community Litter Pick and we are hopeful that your support and achievement will match past years. The Litter Pick usually lasts about two hours, however whatever time you can give will make a difference. Taking some time out to remove the accumulation of litter helps make the community look so much better. A number of individuals have already offered their help for which Liphook in Bloom and the Parish Council are most grateful. We have obtained “pick sticks” and litter sacks form EHDC; they also provide insurance cover to pickers. If you come along I suggest a strong pair of gloves. CAN YOU HELP? OF COURSE YOU CAN! But would live to next year! It's a very satisfying experience. Please help the liphook in bloom team out!

Hopefully this initiative by Liphook In Bloom and The Parish Council will be well supported. This will enhance the appearance of the village in time for the Liphook Charity Bike Ride on 9th June. LIPHOOK LITTER PICK on 28th - Darren (27th Apr 2013 - 11:32:30) Forgot to say, For those of us who can't or don't want to get involved, officially that is, there's no reason not to take 10 minutes out of your day (any day for that matter) to give a quick clear up of your own road and surrounding area. Many hands make light work and if everyone took 10 minutes every now and then then Liphook would continue to look as good, if not better than, it does. Good luck to all those taking part!
