Cllr Ferris Cowper - report
- Editor (22nd Apr 2013 - 16:11:15)

Some snippets from his report dated 22nd April 2013 to the Bramshott & Liphook Parish Council

Full report will be available at bramshottandliphook-pc.gov.uk/newsletters.

This is the final report of my current term of office. I hope to resume my work for the parish following the elections!!!

Liphook Junior and Infants School Traffic

Following the traffic survey the project is now in the plans and a meeting was held between HCC engineers and the school. The following is a synopsis;

Further to this morning's meeting, I can confirm that the measures outlined in paragraphs (a) to (d)/(e) in my e-mail below will be included in the forthcoming Liphook parking review which is programmed to be progressed during the next 2013/2014 financial year.

As discussed, the implementation of these measures will be subject to the successful completion of the statutory Traffic Regulation Order procedure which includes at least two stages of consultation/public advertisement. Representations received during these stages can lead to either the amendment or, in exceptional circumstances, the abandonment of proposals. Typically, it takes between six and twelve months to complete this procedure depending upon (i) the size and complexity of the scheme, (ii) the number and complexity of any representations received and (iii) the availability of funding and staffing resources to progress the scheme. It is hoped to start the statutory procedure during the first quarter of the next financial year with the first stage of consultation with local interested parties which will include the schools.
