Ladies Bike wanted
- Vicky (14th Apr 2013 - 19:50:27)
Quite often bikes seem to be advertised on here.... I am looking for a ladies mountain bike, not too fussed on on brand or colour, something that I can put a childs seat on for our holiday that is in good condition!
Thanks

Hi there, what size are you looking for? My mountain bike has languished in the shed for too long and had very little use, good quality bike with 6 gears and mountain bike tyres, it's a silver Townsend; but depends on your height/wheel size you seek? If you look on the 'net, you should be able to find a guide that calculates the wheel size recommended, it goes off your height and inside leg measurement. I'm under 5' 5". You're welcome to come and look at it if you're not sure, no obligation.

Hi
That sounds good, does it have any rust on it, could you text or email me a picture of it 07717751239? How much are you looking to sell it for? thanks

Vicky - No rust as far as I can see, but I'll take it out of the shed and give it a clean to get rid of the cobwebs and send a text picture.
Thea - I'm 5' 2 also! I hope you understand that I'll give Vicky first refusal, but will send a text pic to you also.
I wish I had the receipt, but it was serviced and put back in the shed some time ago... you can tell because you can see the brake blocks are thick, as new.

OK, more info, as I've been told off by my mountainbike Sons as I wasn't accurate... (boys!)..
It's a Townsend Daytona ladies mountainbike.
Has 21 grip shift gears (where did I get 6 from?), Soft Gel comfort seat, front and rear crud guards, Shimano crank.
Straight handlebars with metallic finish purple'ish brake levers and matching metallic upright riding bars for comfort ride position.
Having cleaned it now and on closer inspection, it does have the odd tiny rust spot on the centre stock of the steel handlebars, I'm sure this would polish off. The wheel rims don't have any rust.
All in great working order, brakes are excellent. Tyres need some air, which I'll sort out before viewing. (have sent pics via text)
