Teenage Boys' Barber/Hairdresser
- Malex (14th Apr 2013 - 10:55:13)

My very very fussy 16 year old is searching for a decent barber or hairdresser to sort out his unruly hair, any suggestions? (His hair is long and thick and needs to be styled rather than clippered.)

My 15 year old son goes to Yolanda's in the village and is always very happy with the haircut he gets there. We have also been to the barbers in Wey Hill and they seemed quite good - can't remember what they're called but if you go straight across the traffic lights at Shottermill and up to the next junction they are directly opposite you.

Review in Petersfield (just off the Square past Phase Eight) are very, very good but also quite expensive.

I let my 12 year old have his hair cut there for a birthday treat as the barbers were all a bit hit and miss. I don't think I will be able to get him back to a barber again but the cut was very good and seems to have lasted longer.

Oh, tell me about it! My two boys were the same, until we found Flamingo's in Farnham. It doesn't charge the prices of some of the hairdressers I could mention, but is a trendy, unisex hairdressers rather than a barbers, which is what they wanted. The owner is male and has had his shop there for years. Now the boys, years later, still prefer to go there. They style and cut, rather than clip and crop. Really nice people there too.
