Coronation parties - Liphook Heritage (12th Apr 2013 - 11:07:41) The Liphook Heritage Centre is attempting to put together a display to mark the 60th Anniversary of Her Majesty’s coronation in June. We would like to make an appeal through talkback for the loan of any photos or programmes of street parties, or any memorabilia connected to this event which may be of interest. We are not asking for anything permanent, just a loan of the memorabilia or the opportunity to photocopy anything of interest would be great. We would also like to take down people’s memories as part of our oral history project . Re: Coronation parties - Val Gaskin (30th Apr 2013 - 12:20:36) Many thanks to those who have loaned material for our display. We are still short of some items to go into our newly-aquired (although not by any means new!) display case. If you are willing to loan some items we will take good care of them and return them to you after our display is dismantled. Please contact us via the link on the left.
