Recycling Collections
- Richard Davies (14th Jan 2008 - 20:25:42)

Is it me or has the council been silly.

We have had our garden waste bag out the front of our home and have waited for East Hampshire District Council. They bag is getting rather full.

Also We have our Black bin emptied once every two weeks. they should come every week! our gets too full and the glass bin thats a joke once a month, we take ours upto JS due to the fact that its gets full.

IF EHDC are readigng this please change the glass bins to the larger round black bins with the twin handles. T

You can get a second glass box if you phone EHDC.
Have a look about glass recycling on their website here.

Oh and don't forget collections were/are all muddled because of the Christmas holidays.

EHDC and bin collections are a topic of discussion in our house.

Despite being vaguely intelligent, it looks like the new process map style chart for bin collections requires a degree in physics to understand. I had thought of leaving all my bins out the front for ever, and seeing what happens.

But now that we have an above-inflation rise in Council Tax and shamobolic service from EHDC refuse collection, I have decided instead to send the 'bin collection chart / puzzle' direct to the Prime Minister and ask him if he can tell me when my glass bin gets collected!
