Laptop problem

I know that I mustn't click on anything unless I understand it, but yesterday in updating my AVG cover somehow I allowed them to take over my home page. I want my BT/Yahoo back but I don't know how to do so. I'm a completely non-technical individual.There must be somebody out there who can fix the problem in a few minutes without charging a fortune - isn't there? Help, please!

Go to the page you want as your home page, Once there, go to Tools > Internet Options and a tab called General will show. About a third of the way down is a button called "Use Current". Press this. (If this button is greyed out, it is a bit more complex) If you can not see the Menu Bar with Tools on it, press the "Alt" button on your keyboard. All the previous assumes you are using Microsoft's Internet Explorer. If you are using something different, post which browser you are using please?
