Practise and Practice - how to remember
- Sharon (26th Mar 2013 - 13:18:19)
Hi, I am always forgetting which word I want, and I have to waste time every time I use the word, to check which spelling I want. Does anyone have a clever little tip to help them remember?
I obviously have a mental block on this one - because I write the word in one form or another quite a lot, and I still can't remember!!!
Thanks!

'Practice' is a noun.
'To practise' is a verb.
A noun is a thing that you can "C"

Hi, I was taught to think of how you would use 'advise' and 'advice' as the spelling pattern is the same, but with these two words you can hear the difference. So you can 'advise' someone (verb) or you can listen to 'advice' (noun). I hope this helps.
