Millennium Cinema Trailer Evening
- Paul Robinson (21st Mar 2013 - 07:30:02)

Cinema Trailer Evening. Friday 22nd March 8.00pm Millennium Hall

This is the way in which the Parish Council currently decides the films that they will book for the next ‘season’.

You will be provided with some written literature on all the films as well as watching the trailers and then you will be asked to rate the films.

The highest scoring films from this evening will be selected to be shown from May to August. There is no charge and refreshments are provided. Millennium Hall Cinema.

Come along and be a part of the selection process.

Paul Robinson

Re: Millennium Cinema Trailer Evening
- John Tough (27th Mar 2013 - 11:23:43)

We had the most successful Trailer Evening yet on Friday which was attended by at least 60 people. Very many thanks to all of you who attended and I hope you enjoyed it and found it worthwhile.

57 score sheets were handed in at the end of the evening and I spent an hour or two on Sunday putting all the scores into a Spreadsheet and sorting the films in order of popularity. I then emailed Phill Walkley of Moviola with a list of the top 5 and a list of our forthcoming cinema evenings. He was able to let us have our top 4 films and our Cinema programme for May to August is now confirmed as follows:

3rd May 2013 - Argo
7th June 2013 - Untouchable
5th July 2013 - Life of Pi
2nd August 2013 - Lincoln

The 5th film was Les Miserables. Perhaps another time?
Thank you again to all those who managed to attend the viewing as it does ensure that we show the most popular films.

Don’t forget that the next film is Skyfall on Friday, 5th April. Tickets are selling well and it could be a sell-out so do get your tickets beforehand if you can.

Regards
John
