Community Governor vacancy - Liphook Federation (17th Mar 2013 - 14:04:10) Owing to a recent resignation, we currently have a vacancy for a Community Governor to join our team, working with Liphook Infant and Liphook Junior Schools. Good practice would suggest that this person will not be a parent or guardian of a pupil at either school. The Governing Body is a group of interested and caring people who give their time voluntarily to oversee the conduct of the schools’ affairs. We operate within an extensive set of regulations and act as a ‘critical friend’ to the schools and staff. Having formed a Federation in May 2011, this is a very exciting time for both schools as we explore and further develop all the opportunities such an alliance can bring.
