Liphook Day Centre Midhurst Road Liphook now have a few vacancies for any elderly residents of Liphook who would like to join. The Staff and Volunteers of the Day Centre are happy to collect perscriptions take to local appointments help with paperwork. A two course lunch is prepared by the two cooks who job share and the two Managers who also job share are very caring with looking after the Clients who attend. The Clients are able to play scrabble cards and make things in the craft sessions. Children from the local schools pay regular visits and chat to the Clients or entertain them with singing or playing instruments. The cost per day is £9 which also includes transport from home so if you are a Carer or have an elderly relative who you think maybe happy to join please contact the Managers on 01428 724941

Whilst on the subject of the Liphook Day Centre are there any Bike Riders who enter the Lidba Bike Ride who would be prepared to get sponsorship and ride on behalf of the Liphook Day Centre. Over many years several local people have ridden and raised money for the Centre but unfortunately due to health age and moving away from the village our supporters have dwindled and we are now looking for some more riders who would be able to support us. If anyone has elderly relatives who come to stay or people needing assistance the Liphook Day Centre have various walking frames -wheel chairs -shower seats- commodes -
walking sticks etc that can be loaned from the Day Centre to save having to purchase also make life easier during a persons visit . Please call into the Day Centre Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday or telephone 01428-724941 or 01428-727751 for further details.
