Motorcycle Display and Marching Band
- Dawn Hoskins (28th Feb 2013 - 11:59:19)

Like many people, I also read the Grayshott.com blog and I thought I would pass this on as it sounds absolutely brilliant.

‘Tattoo’, The famous ‘White Helmets’ Motorcycle Display Team

The event on Wednesday 3rd July at Applegarth Farm, Grayshott, starting at 5.30pm, & features two of the British Army’s most successful entertainment line-ups. The famous ‘White Helmets’ Motorcycle Display Team has an international reputation for it’s amazing feats of co-ordination, daring and sheer riding skills and is coming to the district for the first time.

You’ll even witness the incredible ‘Fire Leap’! And to round off the afternoon in traditional style, the performance will be enhanced with a display by one of the UK’s Top Seven military marching bands – the best in the world. It’s the ‘Band of the Royal Corps of Signals’ resplendent in scarlet uniforms and traditional headgear, performing the ancient ceremony of ‘Beating Retreat, just as you might have enjoyed it at London’s Royal Tournament

The event, in aid of the popular UK-wide forces charity, Help for Heroes, will be an exciting and exhilarating occasion designed to appeal to all ages and all interests – with an abundance of thrills, spills, pageantry – and precision!

“Grayshott is brilliant at presenting top quality entertainment – and this one tops them all” says organiser, Peter Harrison of award winning Grayshott Concerts. “And we’re expecting one of our biggest turn-outs” echoes David Phill ips, organiser of a host of Grayshott events including FunDays and Fireworks, Parties and Pantos, “so we’ll be making sure that everything’s perfect on the day!”

“Our aim is to entertain everyone we can – so we’ll be targeting individuals and families throughout the district” says Peter Hatch, the brains behind FirkinFest and creator and webmaster of the fast growing Grayshott.com village website.

Tickets at £25 for adults and only £5 for children and young people in full-time education, can be reserved by ringing Peter Harrison on 01428 606666
