Liphook Prospective Rotary Club Car Wash - Sean Jeffery (11th Feb 2013 - 14:29:42)
The Prospective Rotary Club of Liphook held it's first fundraiser on Saturday 9th in the form of a car wash.
We would like to say a big thank you to all the residents of Liphook who braved the weather and turned up to have their car cleaned and helped us to raise a fantastic £210.00 for the Day Centre Easter meal. Our target was £150.00 so we could not be more happy with the overall sum raised.
Also a BIG BIG Thank You must go to both the Liphook Social Club and Arnolds Garage in Liphook for the loan of the clubs car park and to Arnolds for the donation of all the cleaning products.
Without their support we simply could not have pulled it off so a HUGE Thanks from all of us at the club.
Don't forget if you missed out on this one we will be holding another car wash on the 9th March so watch this space for updates.

It was us at ANCHOR GARAGE (RENAULT) that supplied the cleaning products, glad the day went well

That is a fantastic total especially with the weather conditions as they were on Saturday so a big Thank You from the Trustees Committee and Clients of the Liphook Day Centre to all members of the Rotary Club and to Anchor Garage and the Liphook Social Club who always give support with anything for the Liphook Day Centre it is very much appreciated.

Hi All,
I would like to apologise for my error yesterday it was in fact the Anchor Garage in Liphook that supplied us with all the car wash materials and not Arnold's as I mistakenly put yesterday.
So now as well as another BIG Thank You to them I also must say a BIG Sorry for my error. I can only put it down to tiredness after such a long weekend!
Once again a big thanks to one and all who helped make the day such a success.
