Vodaphone Signal
- Dave (11th Feb 2013 - 10:10:30)

I've been unable to send or receive anything on my Vodaphone mobile since Saturday. Is anyone else experiencing a similar problem?

hi dave.
i have had problems non stop with vodaphone. i could only get emergency calls only for over 2 months.

went to the shop in guildford was told that the cables had been stolen from the transmitter and they could not tell me when it would be repaired. then they said it was my handset but would not replace as i had a signal in guildford!!!

i now have taken out a contract with o2 and very happy with the signal.

i found customer service very unhelpful and i am propbebly banned from the vodaphone shop in guildford for loosing my rag.
though i got £10 in compensation for loss of signal i would rather have a signal so that i can use my phone as i have no landline.

Vodafone has been dodgy since last September in Griggs Green.

I complained for months and finally went into the Farnborough store and asked how I could cancel my contracts etc.

The helpful guy there told me I needed a SureSignal box so I could get a signal at home through my internet connection.

Customer Services on the phone wanted £50 for one or to pay me when the service came back.

I said no as I had heard they were giving them away free to people who kept complaining.

The guy at Vodafone Farnborough checked my records and saw I had been asking for months and talked them into letting me have one for free.

So keep complaining it does pay off in the end.
Make sure they update your account with the details.

If the lack of signal is their fault , then surely they are in breach of contract?? I would pursue full refund of line rental!

Oh dear - I have just sent off for a Vodafone sim card planning to change from Orange/EE as I can never get a signal indoors and my children (on Vodafone) can.

I hadn't heard from my children that they have been experiencing problems and they normally only use their phones in Liphook area when out and about.

Maybe they are all as bad as each other?
