theft of calor gas bottles

Please be aware that there was a theft during the night in Hammer Vale. An elderly man had his 2 newly delivered large Calor gas bottles stolen. He relies on these for his central heating. The police have been informed, but residents please be aware that theft is unfortunately rife even in the freezing temperatures at night.

To steal an old man's means of heating his home is truly appalling, especially with the cold weather we're having at the moment!!! I hope someone was able to help him get the bottles replaced.
We seem to be having a lot more thefts in this area than when we moved here 12 years ago...I wonder why ?

Yes Enieda thank you for being concerned his daughter lives close by so was able to help, but it is a sad indication that thieves are impervious to weather!
