Liphook Women's Institute - Cath (2nd Jan 2013 - 11:34:28) Although the Women’s Institute has to be one of the most influential women’s groups in the country, each institute is run by its members for its members. At Liphook W.I. we do many things, we have monthly meeting with a variety of different speakers, there are special interest groups and trips of all kinds and we are always open to new ideas. We have had a steady increase in membership across the age range and would very much welcome more. Come and see what we do, we meet in the evening on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, at 7.30 in the Village Hall. This is our programme for the next 4 months. January 16th _ Penny Ingram will talk on ‘The Forgotten Warrior Queen’ February 20th_ Frankie Fit will talk on ‘My Work as a Personal Trainer’ 20th March- Maggie Gwynne will talk on ‘Sniffer Dogs U.K. and International’ 17th April- Lynne Teasdale will talk on ‘The Effects of Colour Upon Us. Please just come along if you are interested - you don't have to become a member immediately but can try us out for a couple of months.
