- Leonard (29th Dec 2012 - 17:05:04)

We have today (sat 29.12) had our black and white horse stolen. I am sure most people have seen her kept within the old osu site by sainsburys. Please contact us if u have any info we would be very grateful. Local police have been informed.

I hope your horse is safe and sound.... But are you actually allowed to keep her on the old OSU site?!

Is it possible that someone has taken her care into their own hands? ....

i know the person who owns this horse and not that it has anything to do with the subject YES they did have permission to keep the horese there , and if someone has taken her in to their care then they have committed a criminal offence .!!! hope she is found safe and well and the scum that has stolen her brought to justice

Yes we had permission from the land owners, thanks for your concern. RSPCA have her listed as stolen as likewise the police are also investigating. Any news would be much appreciated. thanks

Oh sorry!

Well as I say, hope you find her.. that's shocking, hopefully someone will have seen something since it's such an open location...

Did it happen overnight? I saw her a couple of days ago when some kids were feeding her grass through the fence...

She was in Bramshott yesterday on Church Road being loaded into a trailer around 3pm, I saw her with a family when I was on my way past. I sincerely hope that it was you with her and you got her back.

October edition of Hampshire Horsewatch includes the following observation

10.10.12. 13.40 Upton Grey N840 UDP Vauxhall Monterey in blue driving into farm sites.

Since this vehicle was observed in Liphook (Thread: Litter Bugs) on Friday, one has to ask if there could be a connection.

Stolen Horse Recovered

The horse reported stolen on 29th December 2012 from Liphook has been recovered in the Bramshott area of Hampshire, near Liphook.

The recovery was fortunate because the horse had not been taken far from the field from which it had been removed. The owner was instrumental in achieving the recovery. He searched the immediate area and circulated the horse\'s details.

Who on earth would steal a horse and take it less than a mile away? Is there more to this story than meets the eye?

I am pleased she has been safely returned to her family.

Re: STOLEN Horse - Info required

it is obvious that who ever stole this horse must of been from the area , and because of the quick thinking of the owner and friends a picture and details of this mare was quickly circulated around and spread all over the internet making her hot property before she could be taken to far ,so the scum that had nicked her didnt have any option but to abandon her , glad she is back safe and well with her owner

This registration number also comes up in Preston Candover as follows:

Mystery vehicle- help required . Thursday 11th of October

Today, Wednesday October 10th 2012 at about 1.40 pm a blue Vauxhall Monterey registration N840 UDP (a 4 x 4 type of vehicle) was seen in the Preston Candover area this vehicle contained a man and two women and believed children.

The vehicle drove onto a private driveway and the occupants were seen looking at the kennels located at the house, when they realised they were being watched they quickly left the area.

This vehicle has links with people of whom we have had previous dealings and of who visit all area's across West Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey.

Any sightings please call as soon a possible.
.

Thanks Andy

We would like to thank everyone for the concern they have shown with regard to our horse. Thankfully we received information from two very helpful young ladies on Sunday afternoon with regard to our horse. She had been abandoned in a field in bramshot. Not secure and with no water. (It was myself , my wife and children collecting her that afternoon in bramshot).
We are still asking for any information to catch the people/ person that did this. We are very please we have her back in our care. Thank you again everyone for your concerns. Regards.
