Litter Bugs
- Ed (28th Dec 2012 - 16:16:11)

I have just followed a maroon Freelander (or similar) 4 X 4 Reg N840 UDP, from the Co-op, first of all a plastic bottle and food wrapper came out of the driver side window, I flashed them up, then a plastic bottle and food wrapper came out of the passenger window, before they turned down Tunbridge Lane.

I have alerted the local Crimestoppers to this.

What on earth is wrong with people! I seriously don't understand why people do this when they could so easily wait and put it in the bin when they get home!
Find it particularly angering whilst stuck in traffic on the A3, sometimes i am very tempted to get out the car and pick some of the mess up! It's awful!

Googled the registration N840 UDP, It seems the owner(s) are a mini crime wave and the vehicle changes colour often depending upon the witness from dark blue to maroon, but well travelled!

Here's a good idea to cut down on litter...and I'm sure it would work with fish and chips too!!

Perhaps one of the ANPR units could be used to hunt it down if it is most wanted. After all, that IS what they are for... And for comedy value, I would love to see an ANPR operation in Liphook at a busy period just to see what turned up!

I have lived in liphook for seven years and apart from liphook in bloom picking up litter when do the council do it now and then, do we not pay our tax

Bordon has a litter picking team out every day with a little electric truck. I pick rubbish up all the time round village
