Workmen and rubbish
- Jay W (28th Dec 2012 - 13:28:44)

Walking over the Headley Road by-pass bridge you can see a large clear plastic bag of rubbish, a sainsburys bag with rubbish spilling out, milk cartons, crisp packets etc. All sliding down the bank towards the A3 right at the spot where the workmen were working at the top of Hunters Chase just before Christmas.

Same thing happened when the men were working on Headley Road at the top of Tunbridge Lane - milk cartons, sainsburys bags of sandwich cartons, etc all dumped behind the hedge on the edge of the pavement. I picked all that up when out walking my dog but I'm not sliding down the A3 embankment to tidy up after them!

The worst place for sainsburys bags full of rubbish is the north bound griggs green slip road. Somebody throws the bags out of their window either on their way into liphook before they get home or on their way out of liphook! It's been going on every week for about a year now and to make matters worse the tractor comes along that cuts the verges and rips the bags to pieces which makes even more mess!
