Easter Egg Appeal

96.4 Eagle Radio’s Easter Egg Appeal is returning again this year to bring happiness to disadvantaged children.

Charities around Surrey and Hampshire will be giving children Easter eggs kindly donated by the public, which will be delivered in time for Easter.

Eagle Radio are joining forces with the Surrey and Hampshire’s libraries to act as drop off points for anyone who wants to donate an egg to the appeal.

Eagle Radio`s Programme Director and Breakfast Presenter, Peter Gordon explains why he enjoys the Easter Egg Appeal, “We’ve had an Easter Egg Appeal for many years now – and every year, our fantastic listeners get involved and contribute hundreds and hundreds of eggs. I’m so proud that we can make a difference – even if it’s just a chocolate egg – in Surrey and Hampshire.”

Frensham Garden Centre, who are proud to be backing this year’s Appeal, will have a drop off point at their store in Frensham. Eagle Radio`s Managing Director Paul Marcus is thankful that so many local residents in the area back the appeal, “We know from previous years just how generous the people of Surrey and Hampshire are when it comes to supporting under-privileged children. It would be fabulous if we could break another record this year and collect even more eggs than ever before.”

With money being tight at these times all donations to the Easter Egg Appeal are much appreciated.

You can start donating your eggs from Monday 4th April to Monday 17th April. Or you can buy an egg online at www.964eagle.co.uk

The local drop off point is Liphook Library, or Frensham Garden Centre.
