Gates on Muddy Lane - Oldie (25th Oct 2025 20:16:30)
Why have gates gone up on Muddy Lane and on whose authority have they been erected?
Re: Gates on Muddy Lane - Another oldie (26th Oct 2025 13:08:05)
Well is it because there is a development plan for the fields behind Gunns Farm. The developers stop at nothing to get there way . They did the same down at the wimpy development Longmoor Road blocked of the public footpath from lowsely the avenue. Trouble is EHDC don’t care they are to intent on building houses anywhere look at the latest fiasco the chicken farm should NEVER been allowed.

Couldn't agree more Oldie, but with 53% of East Hampshire being in the SDNP and the pressure from this Government to "find sites for housing or we will find them for you", finding sites is not easy. Please don't assume that EHDC don't care or are finding this climate for housebuilding easy. They are not. For the record talks are taking place with the SDNP about building houses on some of the Bohunt Manor land.

Thanks Charlie the EHDC should be demanding that the bohunt and Northcott land be released for development and make sure that a road is included to alleviate the traffic through the square. With the chicken farm and other developments on the cards it’s imperative that something is done about access to the A3 so EHDC must act quickly.
