Royal Mail Pillar Box in Headley Road - Paul Robinson (23rd Oct 2025 18:11:41)
Can anyone explain why this pillar box has been wrapped in a mixture of cling film and black bin liners. It would appear that the whole of the front panel has been removed.
There is a sign saying that this is because a new parcel collection point is to be installed.
Why, where are we to post our letters and cards in future ?

The same thing Paul with the pillar box outside of the Millennium Hall all wrapped up and not in use to become a parcel box according to the poster on it. As you say where will letters be posted-yes there are some of us who still write letters !!

It has been in the news quite a bit, they are replacing them with letterboxes that can also take parcels.
