non-stun slaughtered meat

Our local supermarket now sells non-stun slaughtered meat, where animals are killed without the humane "stun" required by UK law - under an exemption for religious reasons.
The RSPCA - citing this method as inhumane and unnecessarily cruel - is campaigning to ban this practice. Humanists UK also highlight a Food Standards Agency report showing that 53% of non-stun slaughterhouses failed hygiene standards, with "major animal welfare concerns".

Animals being killed and the word humane do not belong in the same sentence.

I think they are talking about halal and kosher meat.
Look up online for more info this is not the place for gory details.
