BT Landline Failure

We lost our British Telecom landline yesterday and, although we have reported it, we have still not had it restored.
We have been advised that the fault is outside of our property.
Is anyone experiencing a similar problem

Yes ours has been dodgy for a few days now, today however it seems fine
