Green dragon smokers - Claresage (24th Mar 2022 - 04:26:31) The green dragon is definitely on the up! Feels cleaner, looks fresher, food great , staff great. BUT as a non smoker it peeves me that I have to step into the road to avoid plumes of smoke from patrons standing on the narrow pavement as I walk past. There is a really good smoking area at the back . I have mentioned this to Carmel at the pub but apparently there is nothing they can do. It really isn’t appealing and all the dog ends in the gutter are horrible. A shame as the pub I has a good vibe again.

However, sometimes we do just need to have a bit of tolerance of other peoples choices. It's not as if this is a case on prolonged passive smoking and it will not cause you any harm, its just unpleasant to you, but tough! You could always hold your breath for a few moments if you really cannot stand a few seconds of the smoke. Before you know it you will have the vegan brigade saying they cannot stand the smell of bacon cooking and will try and ban that odour in public!!!! With regard to the dogends, the pub should take responsibility and provide suitable waste facilities
