Links public house
- Angela (10th Mar 2022 - 12:51:50)

Have you seen the DREADFUL colour, that to me has ruined the whole look of the beautiful Links Public House?
How could that be allowed?

Hi Angela,
Do you live nearby the pub?

I think Kelway Law set a new trend in poor colour taste and others are now following. I suppose some will like it and there is a view that any attention is good attention in the commercial world

What colour is it?

I have to agree with Angela. The colour is horrible, drove past the other day. Its a horrific shade of green. Totally spoilt a very beautiful traditional pub.

Delia - Hopefully it IS an undercoat!

I must admit I did drive past and look twice; not to admire it!

I guess everyone has an opinion, all down to personal taste I guess. However, who's to say one persons taste is better than anothers.

Send comments to fullers pub on facebook etc writing here will not do any good

Same thing's happened to the Swan in Chiddingfold. They did tone it down from the original choice of bile green after local uproar, but it is still a horrible colour, complete with naff golden swan launching itself out over the main road. Why? Just why??!

Hi,
Is not better to go inside the pub to eat, drink, and be merry?
Better than stand outside looking at exterior walls.
