Ukraine Support
- Simon (3rd Mar 2022 - 11:17:49)
I have a team putting together humanitarian support for the people of Ukraine.
I stress this is humanitarian and not weapons or ammunition.
Currently we have aircraft on standby and supplies and are just tying up official details and transport issues, for the first shipments.
Anticipating this may go on for some time we are interested to hear from folk willing to help.
Now we need
1. People who know the region and have contacts.
2. Ukrainian, Polish, Czech speakers
3. A logistics support person who knows international borders and paperwork
In the future we may need
4. Vehicles/trailers
5. Good mechanic/s
6. Financial support (it costs around £1500 per vehicle for the round trip)
7. Drivers up for adventure.
In the first instance please post here with a contact number. I will call you.
If I don't quickly, its not because I don't like you or your idea, simply I haven't been busier for a long time.

Thank you Paul.
Use your prayers for the people of Ukraine. I've talked to quite a few this week. They could do with as much support as they can get.

Last week some friends and I around the UK got together to organise humanitarian aid to Ukraine. We found aircraft, but at £30-40k a pop, it was prohibitive.
We have now teamed up with Yorkshire Aid Convoy, with over 25 years’ experience and are leaving next week in convoy of 7vehicles carrying over £1m of medical supplies, tea, coffee and blankets.
Each truck costs just under £4k for the 7 day round trip, including; hire, fuel, ferry, tolls and insurance. All the team give freely of their time and money, but we sure could do with some help.
Please would you donate online to the charity

Every little will help enormously. Many thanks. Simon
