Just thinking the same . We had Churchill that rose to the top and saved us from being a German state was discarded after the war. We had Thatcher come in and got the country on its feet again but then was brought down. Now we have Boris with his unusual ways but he’s getting the job done we are forging ahead. Churchill and Thatcher broke rules and did it their way and it worked they all had the same thing they banged the drum for Britain . So I for one would like to see Boris have more time and I hope he can get rid of the snow flakes around him. If Labour want to be considered for government they need to break away from the unions. The unions are living in the past and dragging the country down they need to be replaced with a more modern concept perhaps worker involvement in companies.

Well intelligent integrity Tony Blair comes to mind the biggest liar out of all the past PMs . Left the country in ruins and shafted poor old Gordon Brown what a man. As said it comes down to how the country is fairing if the country is booming then surely don’t rock the boat. Ok you will say we aren’t booming but we aren’t doing to bad things are moving in the right direction. There is just no one else to run the country at the moment the Labour Party is in complete meltdown running around like a headless chicken. As for all the other parties who are they??? . Boris got us out of the EU what the public wanted and has now proved to be the right move. He has got us through the pandemic better than most other countries. The economy is on the up . I can’t think of anyone that could have done better.Some tried but failed.

Boris johnson-
-Sacked from 2 previous jobs for lying
-cheat on his previous wife on several occasions
- previously made racist comments
- disknoweldge the existence of his love child for political benefit
- offered to get a journalist assaulted by giving him a few cracked Ribs
- misleading the Queen in 2019
- promised £350 million a week for the NHS if we vote Brexit but instead raises National insurance
- Had parties during lockdown and happily broke the law

This thread is headed "You Really Want to get rid of this guy for who?" and no one, as yet, has suggested who could actually take over from Boris and do a better job.
If Boris is removed as Prime Minister another Conservative will become Prime Minister, as the Tories have a large majority and won't be going to the polls for a few years yet.
I personally think better the devil you know, as there's no one within the Tory Party that has anything about them and would be a better person to lead the country.
As for the opposition, of any persuasion, they have no policies and no idea of how to move the country forward, with the UK out of the EU and the world trying to live with covid and get back to normal.
When the conservatives won power at the last election covid wasn't around so any party in power now would have to totally revise their policies and decisions, and possibly backtrack on promises due to lack of money and growth.
If anyone has an idea of who would be a better Prime Minister at the moment then please let us know.

Sunak, Truss and Hunt are the bookies favorites so it’s highly likely it will be one of them.
It’s clear he has to go, anyone using the “who’s going to do a better job” argument is irrelevant, go he must. There is slot fo be getting on with and it’s just week after week of the Boris show for months now, utter laughing stock.
Transport yourself back to the time this all happened, remember not only those family’s but the lesser example of the punishment handed out to that Doctor whom sneeked out to his girlfriends flat… he lost his Job and the then health secretary said the Rules are the Riles no exceptions… AT the exact same time Boris ans all of Downing Street where throwing parties and inviting their interior decorator over to them !
Tory’s don’t give a toss about the people, we are just underlings they must lie to in order to get through the gates of an election then it’s straight back into selfservative mode for them.

Lizz Truss and Priti Patel are the worst of the lot along with boris of course.
Truzz can't even ban conversion therapy after what 5 years?
She voted against slowing the rise in train ticket prices
She voted against a public owned transport system
She is scum, along with the rest.

Don't know why we get so hung up on a leader. Many in our British history have had faults. In a democracy parliament decide, and vote accordingly. It's voting public on ballot day decide on the party to rule, and candidates
For all of so called faults of the Prime Minister. He has got Brexit done, and a big Conservative to win the General election. A Pandemic sorted for it's peoples, and a great future in foreign trade for jobs for us, and business to come.
Hold on a we have a great future soon.

With or without Boris Brexit getting done is irrelevant as it was already a process that over time once started would have occurred, even a slice of bread would have GOT brexit done as the ball was rolled, you supporting a moron for a slogan of “get brexit done” is no different than supporting a moron whom claims tomorrow the sun will rise !! The public whom voted for Brexit got it done, the EU whom handles the process got it done, time itself once the decision was made got it done.. it’s done and it was already going to get done after that vote.
Your all being lied too, and the lower intelligence are lapping it up whilst they take the piss..
This country used to be a lot better than this

Well James you have nailed your flag to the mast. Or perhaps you are to young to no the saying. Your use of scum reminds me of Labour and the unions who use that term and of course that other lot Hitler and his black shirts when rounding up the Jews for extermination. As said before a weak PM is not good for the country Boris is a strong person he gets things done but he also has to have strong people around him. I think he is beginning to sort out the weak ones and get a good cabinet around him. The weak MPs the likes of David Davids and a few others must be put out to grass . Boris has done a good job so far under extreme pressure he is the only one to stand up to the EU and that posturing French President with his childish ways even the French people want him out. Don’t go down the same road as what happen to Mrs Thatcher outed by John Major a completely useless MP and PM . Let this PM see what he can achieve and then make up your minds.

Labour hasn't got the best reputation with the Jewish community but the Conservative party has made discriminating comments regarding Muslims & Gypsy's and millions of Gypsy's faced genocide alongside the Jews during the war.
Boris is a lier and I hate myself for falling for his Bulls***t. National Insurance is rising to pay for the NHS but he promised that brexit would pay £350m a week?. Boris promised no Trade border between NI and GB? Boris was hosting partys with 40+ people but I couldn't visit my dying mother!. He has no sense of integrity or honesty. He has been sacked from 2 previous jobs for lying. Open your eyes because I'm sick of people trying to defend misconduct in public office......... 😒 😤 😑 😴

Rm, though I agree with you, you are wrong about John Major. Thatcher was kicked out by her own cabinet and Major won a leadership election between himself, Michael Hestletine and Douglas Hurd. As for calling him "useless", that's a matter of personal opinion, he did win an election. Others such as Gordon Brown couldn't even do that.

Theresa May is a traitor? Liz Truss is scum? The level of argument on here beggars belief. Two MPs have been murdered in the last few years and women MPs from all parties have pointed out the horrible abuse they get online. If people just want to throw around nasty, vindictive, irrational rubbish they should go out in their cars and shout to themselves ( with the windows up) to get it out of their systems. Abusive comments aren't supposed to be permitted in any case.

Anyone with any honesty, failing that integrity, failing that at least someone who when caught lying has the decency to apologise when caught and not double down on the lies.
In short pretty much anybody apart from the current cabinet.
