Money
- James (17th Dec 2021 - 22:08:18)
Just a reminder we are still in a pandemic, cases are at their highest, card is recommended in shops, if you can't use card then the exact cash is recommended to prevent a lot of money changing hands.
When money goes into the till it isn't washed, it will end up in someone else's hands that same day.
Don't be silly, Use your card!

But it’s ok to all use the keypad? Which definitely gets wiped down after every touch!!!!
Cash moving from hand to hand is a drop in the ocean in the spreading of this virus.

James
Money is very low risk and I will use it as often as possible.
CASH IS KING.

The virus is airborne, think of it like someone walking around the shop smoking a cigarette, if you can walk into that cloud of smoke and can smell smoke it’s effectively the same thing.. your inhaling the virus. Even the public health warnings have moved on from washing your hands to now open the windows and ventilation etc.
Appreciate using money is another vector for the virus but I doubt it’s actually as bad as going indoors with someone whom has the virus. Yes don’t use money but go to shops and places like the pub less often is probably better advise.

My point is reducing contact means reducing the likelyhood of catching it, for both the customer and staff.
If you insist on using cash then use scan as you go or self checkouts.
