Rental house needed

Please help!! Crazy rental market!!! My children and I are looking for a new 3+ bed rental property in the area, due to our current one being sold. If you know of any empty properties, perhaps someone working abroad, elderly relatives moving into a care home, second properties, annexes or estate cottages, we would really appreciate you passing on my details.
We have now narrowly missed out on 3 rentals in as many weeks, due to landlords circumstances changing or being gazumped by other tenants offering a years rent up front.... so I'm taking this rather unorthodox approach in the hope that someone might know of somewhere.
