Flu vaccine

If you are under 50 and have to pay for the vaccine there may be young mothers who are finding the £20 reduction in benefit hard to cope with let alone afford the extra to have their health protected this winter.
I would hate to think that there could be children left without their Mum. Would it be possible for those who have had their flu jab to provide the cost for a young Mum ? Could this be done via the Food Bank ?
I can just about use a computer and would have no idea how to set this up but maybe someone else would like to explore the possibility ? Thanks.
| | LLoyds Pharmacy offer the flu jab for £14.99 for those under 50. Although there are many conditions which would make it free even for under 50's. See lloydspharmacy.com/pages/flu-vaccination for details.
The food bank would be a great starting point for this initiative. |
