I shall have to check it out. Still discovering all the lovely places nearby! Any recommendations welcome (I live next to Radford Park so am familiar with that already)!

This is an interesting thread because this Saturday 11th, between 11 and 2pm, there will be a community info pop up stand on an area of parish-owned land at Fletchers Field. Do drop by to find out more about the proposed small orchard space for that area, share ideas and concerns. I'll be there in my capacity as Community Orchard Project South East along with parish councillors.

Find out more about the history of Liphook's very own heritage apple variety, the Bramshott Rectory.

A small orchard garden space at Fletchers Field will only add to the tranquility of the spot and will encourage more wildlife visitors,

There will be spring blossom and in time, fruit to share, cook with and create jams and chutneys.

And I agree, the flower beds planted up by Liphook in Bloom are superb!

I'm curious as to how this orchard will operate? Who will pick the fruit? Can anyone? What's to stop someone picking all of it themselves (and possibly selling it)?
