Disappointing car wash - sidge (27th Jun 2021 - 13:00:01) I have used the car wash at Hilliers in Liss for ages, always charge £15 for my car and made an excellent job. Went their today and price had gone up for silver wash to £20, happy to pay. Then when I went to pay price had gone up from agreed price to £25 and car was not that clean, bird poo on door, boot floor really wet and lots of dirt around boot hinges. Needless to say they have lost a regular customer.

It must take a good hour to do a car inside and out, the minimum wage is about nine quid an hour for an adult then there's materials as well. If a seventeen year old can command fifteen pounds an hour for labour alone I think the car wash price very reasonable.

Price according to size, I have outside done every two weeks and in and out done monthly or so. Comparable or slightly cheaper than price you were asked. I inspect before paying. There are just under railway to the left before the turning to leisure centre.

Re: Disappointing car wash - sidge (15th Jul 2021 - 19:01:58) Thank you for info Mary. The car cleaning took about half an hour, inside and out. It was £25 gone up from £15, and no longer as good. If I choose to pay someone to clean my car that is up to me how I spend my money!!

Mind it’s cheap to do really good job can take hours pay for what you get best not go to car wash who use strong chemicals damage paint
