Recommendation for small drill

Woman, now old and weak, I need to buy a small lightweight rechargeable drill. I have no idea what to look for and wonder if anyone can suggest something suitable?
I want to drill 4 small holes in a fence panel and attach a laminated notice that appears to be about 3 ml thick. I really have little idea how to set about it, but it can’t be that difficult, surely?

I can’t believe the generosity of people here! I will phone tomorrow when I get back from taking someone to hospital. It is a bit late now?
