Thanks for this - I know Donna well and have used her for a long time...
However, I do not have a car at present after a fully laden cattle lorry reversed into my car and Donna is not a mobile groomer..

David, according to government guidelines groomers may only accept animals if its for welfare reasons not aesthetics

Indeed

Hair salons are closed, and that includes dogs.

How irresponsible can you be.

Pick up and drop off service, you deserve to be reported for breaking the law.

As for being permitted to post that on here,I understood sales that weren’t essential were not being posted ?
It’s typed on this page in red as a headline!!?

Why do so many people on this site jump to the wrong conclusions and assume everyone is breaking the rules?

There are many breeds of dogs that need regular professional grooming and clipping to prevent their hair matting especially around the ears... (for example those dogs that have been bred not to shed hair in the home) if this is not done then this can lead to health problems. If dog's nails aren't clipped then this can prevent them being able to walk and run properly. So that's why dog groomers are allowed to work for welfare reasons.

MR

Well said - you must be one of the better folk in Liphook, so glad to see some sense and compassion on this site for a rare change

A hound designed to keep hair off the sofa that needs a regular proffessional cut and blow dry?

That made me giggle and thinking.

What will we invent next?

I bet somewhere, in an R&D dept, someone (possibly in California) is working on a pup that cuts the lawn, in stripes!

Finance Available

PS They've managed to make a dog that wakes you up in the mornings. They crossed a cocker spaniel, a poodle and a rooster and got a cockerpoodledoo!

In reply to er's post I would just like to say that people who suffer from allergies such as asthma buy the non moulting dogs because they can tolerate them. Not everyone I agree some people just do not like dog hairs all over the place. As it is a well known fact that poodles do not moult breeders are cross breeding them with other breeds such as cocker spaniels to name but one.

Just to say, I do not even own a dog!
Some dogs however suffer from matting which pulls so hard on their skin it can actually tear the skin and is excruciatingly painful for the poor animal. Just imaging how bad it feels when you catch your hair in a zipper!
These animals are allowed by law to visit the much needed groomer.

The other thing is, nobody said they were booking their dog in for grooming, someone was just making inquiries, presumably for the future.

I've thought of a solution, dog owners having a dog brush.
Crazy talk!!
