Fridge repair -any recommendations? - Kiara (27th Sep 2020 - 14:39:00) Does anyone have any recommendations for someone who could repair a fridge? Our freezer is working perfectly but the fridge doesn't seem cold. I've looked at the manual but no joy. It's 5 years old and just out of warranty! Thanks, kiara

Re: Fridge repair -any recommendations? - richard (27th Sep 2020 - 20:13:14) Buy a fridge thermometer first, and measure its temperature. Temperature can be deceptive. Also measure the freezer temperature

Re: Fridge repair -any recommendations? - Jim (28th Sep 2020 - 14:08:43) Check for dust on the coils they will be under or behind. Often just cleaning the coils solves problem. If you may have a broken auto defrost heater

Re: Fridge repair -any recommendations? - MikeT (30th Sep 2020 - 09:55:29) Sorry, can't advise on repair engineers. Whether you have to repair or replace, you might end up needing space to store your freezer contents temporarily. We can offer spare freezer space if you need it
