Used carrier bags
- Ian (5th Sep 2020  05:47:27)

I have a large quantity of used carrier bags, are they any good to anybody before I bin them? 07990902448.

If nobody wants them please don’t bin them! The recycling area at Sainsbury’s has 2 receptacles for plastic bag recycling. Please pop them in there so they don’t end up in landfill.

Ian

Please avoid chucking single use plastics into landfill.

Can’t you re-use them? Even as bin liners bound for landfill would be better than nothing!

Or a charity shop could re-use?

You could try the food bank? I have seen on Facebook that the Haslemere one asks for carrier bags so maybe Liphook would need them too?

I took quite a few to Liphook Charity Shop (not the Cancer Research) in Station Road a few weeks ago, They may take them. Try contacting them.

Why not just use them yourself or put them in to the re-cycling bin in sainsburys carpark.
Not very sensible to just bin them!!! 🙄

Gone to a very grateful home. I didn't want to bin them that's why I came on here!
