Very loud outdoor music etc - mini-rave?
- ‘Mary W (23rd Jul 2020  19:43:23)

Anybody know where the really loud outdoor music event was, coming from direction of Station Road railway line area - it was deafening on Saturday evening and quite loud again this evening since about six thirty?

No objection to occasional events of people enjoying themselves, but two or three times a week is a bit much.

Usually it is so pleasant on warm evenings sitting outside, I try very hard not to disturb neighbours by playing my music too loudly. But this are obviously public events of some kind.

Haven’t seen an increase of traffic around Station Road, so possibly it is the other side of the railway line.

This may be your answer. It's from another thread.

I realise that is a joke😂

I’m talking about a big outdoor event of some kind, not the sort of racket issuing from one noisy teenager on a set of drums.

Hi Mary,
It wasn't meant as a joke. On these warm calm nights sound can travel and make you think its a lot louder and closer than it actually is. And bass music as mentioned in the thread can be one of the worst for this.
